Objectives:
We will review the 2024 ICD-10-CM changes as they affect the overall code set by reviewing the additions, deletions, and revisions. These changes will be covered by chapter, along with a description of the intent of the new codes / conventions. We will review the changes to the 2024 ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting, with examples for application for some of the new codes.

• 2:00pm-3:00pm     Review 2024 ICD-10-CM Changes, the official guidelines and codes that are deleted, revised and new.

• 3:00pm-4:00pm     Continue reviewing the changes to the 2024 ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting, with examples for application.
